Eating Out on a Budget Tip #1: Drink Water
Let’s face it, it’s expensive to eat out these days. I like to eat out just as much as the next gal. My pocketbook, on the other hand, can’t always afford it. Over the next few weeks I’m going to share some tips to help you save when dining out.
Tip #1 – Drink Water
Most restaurants charge $1.50-$2.50 per drink. While that doesn’t sound like much, that definitely adds up over time. Let’s do the math – if you and a family member eat out once a week and drink water, you can save $150-$250 a year. I don’t know about you but there’s a lot I’d rather do with that kind of money instead of drinking it away.
