A few days ago I visited Gondolier Restaurant to have lunch with a friend. I’d never eaten there before so, loving everything pasta, I was super excited to check it out!

Immediately as I entered Gondolier I was greeted by the smells of Italian food cooking away! One thing your eyes can’t miss when you walk in the door are their picture-perfect desserts!

From salads and pasta to calzones and pizza, there are scads of items to choose from on the menu so there’s something for every member of your family! I finally decided on the Baked Ravioli – you can choose from beef, cheese or spinach!

Underneath that yummy mozzarella cheese was beef ravioli, and it was oh so delicious! I must say that sometimes I’m a bit leery ordering ravioli because I’ve found it to be too chewy. Not so at Gondolier – it was cooked to perfection!

When the manager found out I was going to share my Gondolier finds with you, he brought over some desserts for us to try. (Yes, those picture-perfect desserts I saw when I entered the restaurant, and I was super excited to taste them.) Check out this Red Velvet Cake and Strawberry Cheesecake with real strawberries on top!

While each and every one of these beautiful desserts were yummy, I have to admit that this Milky Way Cake was my absolute favorite! Let me just say that this cake will melt in your mouth – you will have to pause at the yumminess when you put that first bite in your mouth!
